Just some short sharing...

In New Living Translation, The Righteous One (NIV) is translated to "the one who pleases God completely".

This morning, as usual, i go to the webpage to start my day with some reading on Bible and a devotional passage by
C. H. Spurgeon. As I read on, i realise i just go thru another ritual in which i has not much desire to learn new thing from God. So, i prayed for a eager heart to maximise my time with God. so, the first paragraph is what i learn today. though very little, but thank God for showing me a new prespective/definition on "The Righteous One".

1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.

it then remind me of a novel i read a year ago, "In His Step". this is where the famous WWJD come from. This novel painted a picture on how a pastor in a tranditional church at early 19th century to start this WWJD pledge. as first, a lot of people think it is futile to even think about such idea in their time. it start from a few people who are serious in following Jesus' step, which pledge to devote their life to Jesus. though it's paintaking and the struggles was great, the strength, grace and blessing of God cannot but just poured out on these people who seek God in every step of their live. the people were touched and moved by how God work in those individual live, and eventually the whole church pledge themselves to WWJD movement, and a spiritual revival swept thru the whole town.

though it is just a fiction, but, i believe all of us has somehow experience the blessing and grace that granted by God by practicing WWJD. so, let WWJD always be the question "haunt" us.

God bless you.
